The death of misdeeds and stale ideas give way to new opportunity.
Amongst the throes, there is the crow:
I am a bird on a wire, making my way as best I know how.
Am I different than you?
Each day, my mission is simple and unchanging:
I gather food and feed myself, my partner and my young.
I make, repair and provide a home to ensure a place for us to sleep.
I nurture and worry and love and care for those dear to me.
I protect them all from predators and bad weather that bring trouble.
And before I lay my head to rest each night, I share the wisdom I have gained, my fears and the truth of things I cannot change.
And when time permits, I watch and observe the world around me.
This is the story of what I see when it provides a moment of clarity.
